Automatic Chronographs are still popular

The once popular automatic chronograph experiencing a comeback. About four decades ago, watchmakers presented the world's first module chronograph after numerous setbacks. An integrated Microrotor ensures the automatic elevator of movement. Both directions allow an efficient clamping of the garter spring which provides up to 50 hours power reserve. Models with this special rotor keep the dimensions limited. First models of this chronograph pointed to a diameter of 29 mm and a height approximately 6.5 mm. The phase of the electronics age pushed out for some time that before 600 years begun mechanics age of the chronograph. Reclamation of low-cost crystals made mass production possible. This production of mechanical and automatic decreased considerably chronograph in the numbers. Valuable specimens from the prehistoric period pieces of popular enjoy today as a collector.
